Replicate Physical Servers and VMWare VMs
ASR supports the replication of VMware VMs and physical servers to Azure and to a secondary VMware site.
Getting ready
To begin, you will need to prepare Azure. You will need an Azure subscription, an Azure storage account, and an Azure network. Review up-to-date steps here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/tutorial-prepare-azure.
Note
Site recovery performs best when storage and network bandwidth are sufficiently provisioned. Use the deployment planner to accurately estimate requirements to meet your replication needs.
