Creating an account in Visual Studio

To get started with VSTS, head to your web browser and follow these steps:

1. Open Microsoft's website at this URL: https://www.visualstudio.com/team-services/.

2. On the website, you'll see a Get started for free button, as shown in the next screenshot. Click on that button:

3. Clicking on the button will take you to the signup page, where you can log in using your existing Microsoft account:

4. If you don't already have a Microsoft account, then you can click on the Create account link on the same page.
5. Clicking on the Create account link will take you to the next page, where you can choose a username and password for your account and click Next:

6. It might ask you to verify that you are an actual person creating an account, so after completing that step, your account should be ready to use.
7. After completing the signup form, the next step is to set up the URL to host your Team Services project at https://www.visualstudio.com/.
