Objective 9.1 – Configure vSphere HA cluster features
vSphere HA is a feature that's available in vSphere and is applied to a pool of monitored ESXi hosts. It allows you, in the case of host failure, to restart the virtual machines that are detected as down on another host within the cluster.
Modify vSphere HA cluster settings
vSphere HA's responses to failure conditions on a cluster can be customized depending on your business requirements. In order to configure failures and responses, you must edit the cluster and enable the Enable Host Monitoring
option, like so:

Here, you can configure the following parameters:
Host Failure Response
: You can configure host monitoring and failover to the selected cluster. Two options are available:Disabled
: Host monitoring is disabledRestart VMs
: The start order is determined by the VM's restart priority
