Using Empties for reference images
To kick off our architectural model, we'll want to pull in reference images of multiple sides of our house. That will allow us to make sure our modeling efforts match the dimensions and the detailing of the original structure.

Missing an image? Try Google Street View or Google Earth!
Perhaps you are modeling a structure that is not nearby and you find you are missing details in your collection of photographs. You may be able to fill in the gaps by visiting Google Street View. Some details you can't photograph from the ground. If you are having trouble envisioning how the geometry of the house comes together, an aerial view from Google Earth may help pull the pieces together.
