Report folder permissions
We discussed many permissions related to reports in the previous chapter. Permissions related to a report determine a user's abilities to work with a report, such as run a report, create a report, export a report, and so on. But it does not determine the user's ability to work with report and dashboard folders, folder control report, and dashboard accessibility and security.
In this section, we'll explain each permission related to a report folder, starting with permission to create a report folder, view a report in a public report, manage a report in a public report, and so on.
The Create Report Folders permission
The Create Report Folders
permission gives users the ability to create a new report folder. The Create and Customize Reports
permission is required to be enabled for this permission.
When this permission is enabled, once you are in the Reports
