3D Model - structure and components


In the preceding section, you have identified scenarios and detailed them through the sketching process. The next step is to develop the 3D Asset for the building and sensors that you are going to use in the next chapter to develop Remote Monitoring holographic application.

While developing our previous project, we have already gone through the detailed process of developing 3D Models. So, you have two options:

  • Create a new 3D Model: Apply the 3D Model creation process you learned while developing the previous project, and develop a new 3D Model for the building and sensors

After you have downloaded the pre-built 3D Asset, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new Unity3D project.
  2. Import the asset to the Unity3D project.
  3. Drag and drop the office_building_fbx.fbm asset within the scene.
