Color Grading

Color Grading is a capable tool that can help us create anything from very subtle color effects to complete recolorization of the photograph. Similar to other Lightroom tools we've discussed, Color Grading works on different areas of luminosity; that is, Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights.

We can add color at a specific hue and saturation for each of these three areas. We can adjust hue and saturation by choosing the desired color on the color wheel. We can work by adjusting the values within the three-way panel, going to each luminosity level separately, or making global changes (the last circle). I will focus on the single luminosity wheels as I find them easier to work with due to their size.
