Being pragmatic

It is important that you know the technologies which you will design solutions for firsthand, so it is recommended that you have at least one device from each operating system. If possible, familiarize yourself with the devices and use them personally throughout the day, since many aspects are appreciated by chance and not when you are performing a specific task.

Explore different solutions

Investigate and compare how applications are adapted to different platforms. Carefully analyze the operating systems of both Android and iOS as they apply a lot of design patterns and solve complex problems.

Explore your own solutions and evaluate them according to the goals for which you are creating your solution. Some solutions will work for large groups of people, while others will work better with a smaller or specific group of users. Adapt your solutions to the target group of users who will finally use the app.
