As a huge fan of the genre I've always wanted to make an RTS. Unfortunately it's a pretty challenging genre to get right and there aren't many resources out there. This book is filled with useful and actionable tips for beginners and advanced users alike!

This was a great introduction for me into RTS game design. It gives a nice overview of RTS games with step-by-step instructions on how to build a game from start to finish with great visuals. This books covers every step from creating a game design document to exporting your game when complete. I would recommend to anyone interested in learning to create RTS games.

This book is very well written and easy to understand. It is designed for all levels of experience from a brand new coder to an experienced pro. It covers all the basics of creating an RTS and does so in such a way to allow expanding the game. I highly recommend this book.
