Troubleshooting web server issues


The last recipe in this chapter covers the known issues with the web server. The following is the list of commonly identified issues and their solutions:

Intel XDK doesn't see the Galileo board

If you are looking for your Galileo board inside Intel XDK and it doesn't automatically appear, there are several things you can do. First, make sure that your board is correctly connected to your local network, either via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

Then, simply reboot the board by using the onboard button labeled REBOOT. This should solve the problem in most cases.

Finally, the IoT image installed on the board might have a problem. If so, simply follow the relevant recipe to reinstall the IoT image.

If this still fails, go back to the relevant recipe and try to enter the board's IP address manually.

The web server doesn't respond

If you ran the server application with no errors, but get an error when trying to access the server, make sure that you entered the right port (for example...
