We have used webpack to create our custom Vue SFC apps in Chapter 5, Adding Vue Components. As a developer, it is useful to know how to peer into the mechanism of a complex thing, and we must also understand how to use common and standard patterns to work with others collaboratively. Therefore, these days, we are inclined to use frameworks. Vue CLI is the standard tooling for Vue app development. It does what our webpack custom tool does and more. If you don't want to create your own Vue SFC developing tool, Vue CLI is a great choice. It supports Babel, ESLint, TypeScript, PostCSS, PWA, unit testing, and end-to-end testing out of the box.
