Digital signature
You may be asking yourself, what is a digital signature and why do I need one? To get started, let's imagine you are writing a letter to someone, and at the end of the letter, you close it off with your regards and apply your signature. The purpose of your signature is to validate the authenticity of the document and to ensure it's written by you. The concept of a signature is the idea that it's unique to you as a person. We can use another analogy. Let's assume you want to open a new bank account at your local bank, and so you decide to visit the nearest branch, where the representative provides you with some documents that you are required to review and apply your signature to on each one accordingly.
