The application domain

This domain consists of the logic, rules, models, and user interfaces needed to address the business requirements that we gathered previously. The primary components that will comprise an application domain are illustrated in the following diagram:

We will need to reference our discovery documentation and data flow diagrams for our project that were described in the previous chapter. We will also consider how information that is needed will be delivered to the business analysts and other users of the information. For this, we need to assess the skills present among our business users to ensure that we deliver the KPIs and related information in a usable form.
