Abstract

Cloud computing is the technology for on-demand distribution of services, like computation power, storage, applications, etc., by means of the Internet of Things (IoT), which is a set of interconnected things via the internet that has the ability to assess, act and communicate with the world. Fog computing is the modified version of the existing structure which promotes the data handling at the edges of the network instead of handling everything at the cloud level. His area of research includes: evaluation computing and approximate algorithms, network communication, security and vulnerability, network performance analysis and simulation, cloud computing, IoT and image processing in biomedicine. He has more than 50 publications and edited/authored 15 computer science books.
