Let's go through some examples of sidebars used in social networks. There are an increasing number of social networks to choose and get inspiration from, and I'm sure that you have your own favorites; however, I would always recommend that you check all of them out first.
Facebook is the most successful social network in human history, and, most likely, every reader at some point has had a Facebook account; it is definitely one to take inspiration from.
