I have found the book Quantum Computing with Silq Programming to be a very nice and gentle introduction to the topic of quantum computing and Silq programming. The manner in which Srinjoy and Thomas covers the details in the book is truly commendable and it has helped me to develop a thorough understanding behind the mathematical concepts behind quantum computing. The Silq codes provided and developed for each of the quantum algorithms are very intuitive and the codes translates from the mathematical description of the algorithm perfectly. This translation makes the coding very clear and easy to understand. The best aspect of the book which I like is that both Srinjoy and Thomas have tried to cover some real life applications of quantum computing such as quantum error correction, quantum cryptography and quantum machine learning, all of which are explained in a lot of detail. The authors have done a great job to cover all the major quantum algorithms in sufficient detail so it does not leave any further questions. The book has been able to convince me to use Silq language and contribute to its development as it is easily one of the simplest quantum programming language with an advantage of automatic uncomputation! I strongly recommend this book to everyone who want to dive deep into the wonders of Silq language!

This book’s coverage is very wide-ranging, comprehensive and detailed.The required mathematics is presented in the first chapter at a level that presupposes that readers have some knowledge of linear algebra, probability, complex numbers, and statistics; for such readers the treatment should be sufficient.Two further chapters cover all the quantum physics groundwork required for readers to understand how to begin quantum computing and one more covers the hardware aspects.The rest of the book is devoted to Silq programming, beginning with the nuts and bolts of data types, control structures and functions. There follows discussions of famous quantum algorithms and real-world applications. The book concludes with, unusually for books of this ilk, a fascinating chapter on what must surely become of increasing importance as more and better hardware comes on stream: quantum machine learning.I found the authors of this book to be extremely knowledgeable in their field and to be able to put across the complexities and subtleties of quantum programming in a lucid, well-structured and, above all, interesting and thoughtful manner.The only real competition for this book that I can find at this time is the official documentation which is helpful resource but in no way sufficient by itself. Other books may follow but this one is surely destined to become the go-to resource for students, researchers, and scientists looking to learn quantum computing techniques and high-level quantum programming development with Silq.Tony Holdroyd. 06/08/2021.

I highly recommend this book because, I was just a beginner and wanted guidance in this domain and I purchased this book to my surprise that when I started reading this book, its like a novel and time passed , I was so much indulging with the words of author. A big salute to Mr. Srinjoy and Mr. Thomas for their excellency in drafting such a high-end technology in a user-readable format. Any Beginner should definitely try this book at least once to gain deep knowledge on Quantum Computing with Silq language.
