The book goes through a lot of different scenarios talking about the different elements of software architecture. It's well structured following the whole software lifecycle, starting from the design of a system and finishing with maintaining it.Most developers with some real experience will find it very useful, as it talks about relevant architecture problems and solutions. I particularly liked that the book talks about the challenges of maintaining and adjusting running applications, as that's a topic that's less discussed in technical books.While the title prominently says that it's a Python book, for the most part, it's a language-agnostic book and it can be easily understood by almost any developer interested in the subject. The examples are in Python, but they are short and to the point, which makes them easy to understand and translate to other programming languages and situations.Definitely a great read if you want to learn or improve your understanding of the architecture of complex systems.

The approach of this book is something I have been wanting to see for some time. It is ideal for engineering students that are expected to solve physical tasks. It is not flooded with warehouse or payroll examples that do not apply in most engineering cases.Excellent reference book for not only Python learning, but coding in general.

The book is well written with 4 main sections.Part 1 is the design section that covers the basics of API design, Data Modelling/Layer. Part 2 is the most effective and contains the main concepts of Python Architecture Patterns. This includes Web server structures, Advanced Event driven structures and microservicesFinally, parts 3 and 4 cover testing and TDD, package management, logging, profiling, and debugging that are critical for the practical implementation of Python Architecture Patterns.
