Reading through this book has been a pleasure, I've been impressed by how well these advanced topics have been explain with not only text, but with images and code. You learn topics such as multi-threading, ray tracing, and temporal anti-aliasing.

Extremely good written! I'm not Vulkan fun and bought this book only just to review new render techs, anyway it was cool to read it.I would add an addition 'star' in review for organized code samples. Despite duplicated sources, it was pleasant to play with sources without making an own repo to track changes.NOTE: ideas in this book supposed to be used by the Top GPU for current day( some samples only for NVidia GPU ). Samples work fine, but for using them with Intel's GPU( or other mobile GPU ), you need to fix some Vulkan stuffs. I saw it as homework for every chapter but can be kinda confused for first impression.

Credits can be earned from reading 40 section of any title within the payment cycle - a month starting from the day of subscription payment. You also earn a Credit every month if you subscribe to our annual or 18 month plans. Credits can be used to buy books DRM free, the same way that you would pay for a book.
