Summary
In this chapter, we covered VMware vCenter Server concepts such as the Platform Services Controller, Single Sign-On, VMware Licensing Service, and so on. We also covered the differences between the VCSA and vCenter running on a Windows machine. We learned how to deploy both Windows and Linux versions of the vCenter Server and also how to perform the post installation configuration on them. We learned how to configure identity sources on the SSO server and configure licenses for the vSphere environment. From there, we learned how to configure Enhanced Linked Mode for vCenters.
