Summary

In this chapter, you learned every user interface option in the Force.com platform. You learned methods of creating custom application, custom tabs, and customizing page layouts. Now, we know that in the Force.com platform, most of the UI designing and developing can be done using point-and-click controls. However, the Force.com platform allows us to design and develop user interfaces beyond the standard UIs by using the Visualforce markup language. Finally, you have started to learn about Visualforce and further more, you will learn to build custom pages in Chapter 8, Building Custom Pages with Visualforce.
