Applying power
Now it's time to power your Mini Round Robot with two battery packs attached to the chassis:
- Connect the barrel plug of the 9V battery to the DC barrel jack of the Arduino.
- Then, connect the output from the 4 x AA battery to the motor driver board (Figure 2.33):

- Connect the positive lead of the battery to the VM pin of the motor driver board.
- Connect the negative lead of the battery to the GND pin of the motor driver board.
