This is a great book written in the most simple language. It’s easy to understand and to the point. If you are a AWS system admin or even want to deploy your application using AWS then you will find all your questions answered in this book. Just browse through the table of content and you will be able to locate your question/ query . It’s also a detailed book for anyone who wants to try AWS cloud platform. The book is written keeping in mind the practical problems that an administrator might face while using AWS. I would any-day pick up this book to get to the point answer to my query on AWS then using Google which might confuse me with numerous approaches.

I have recently started using AWS. I found this book very helpful in starting with AWS. Also there are many real time scenario discussed in book which i found very useful. I have covered few chapters till now and impressed the ways writer has explained concisely the strategy and all steps need to be followed. Also i found tips and tricks to be very useful as provided in last chapter.

"AWS for System Administrators" is a fantastic guide with a hands-on approach for those interested in learning the fundamentals of Amazon's cloud offering as well as for those looking for a compilation of concise walk-throughs. The sections of the book are well-organized and cover a wide selection of the various services comprising AWS. Each chapter is well written with step-by-step instructions and ample pictures to assist in navigating an otherwise formidable user interface. Code examples are provided for achieving the same results through the CLI or IaC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. The final section is a great collection of Tips & Tricks from someone who has clearly "been there, done that." By the end of the book the reader will have the knowledge to build an environment that is both scalable *and* secure.

Great book. This book has very detailed explanations and instructions on all the basic aws topics and is very easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start with aws.

The book presents AWS basics and builds on top of it in a simple and consistent manner. There are screenshots and commands that make the concepts easier to understand. It can act as a guide for system admins as well as anyone trying to build solutions using AWS. Overall a great book for anyone using/learning AWS!
