I knew the book well before I read it, because I had read the previous edition. Even though I’m quite comfortable with my own coding best practices with angular, I read it to confirm my coding practices and to be able to discuss it with any angular enthusiast.The book contains small and easily digestible chapters. It uses TypeScript. If you're not familiar with TS, you should take a look before reading it (Any TypeScript 101 guide is enough).The book starts with the fundamentals of Angular and then continues with real-life projects to develop and improve your skills. You will learn a broad spectrum of Angular best practices, from using the Angular CLI, Nx to SSR and more.This book is a must for any Angular Developer or Frontend developer looking into Angular.Good job Aristeidis!

The author has written a wonderful text that describes the basics of Angular as a framework, but doesn’t neglect any popular uses for Angular and includes discussion of TypeScript and Electron, which is always very important. TLDR: I'm super excited to have added this one to my bookshelf. There are several projects in here that I plan on using for my own personal use and the author gives you all the tools you need to expand upon the supplied projects however you wish. 10/10!Background: I'm a self-taught programmer of 10 years, mainly specializing in C#. In the last year or so, I've branched out more into other languages and frameworks, notably those targeted the web space. I'm a life-long learner and continuously read books to stay on top of current technologies.Programming level: Basic knowledge of Angular and Typescript is assumed but any programming knowledge should be sufficient.This is going to be a cherished book that I will be referring back to from time to time. There are (as the title says) 10 real-world projects you will create through the course of this book. In particular, there are two projects I will be expanding: the first is a blog app, which I'm going to use to write about my daily programmings, and a weather app, which I've already tweaked to easily monitor the weather in my area.The author provides everything you need in order to get a fully-functioning project and concisely explains what each area is doing. As stated above, general programming knowledge IS suggested as some of the more basic concepts of Angular/Programming in general are not covered. The best way to view this book is an Angular cookbook that will show you many different ways you can use the framework and supporting libraries to create thoughtful and creative projects.Probably my favorite section of this and something I will be messing around with a lot more is the section on Electron. It's amazing to me how quickly you get a project up and running with Angular and this is a shining example of that.While some may see this as a downside, the brevity of the book adds to the experience as there are no long-winded explanations or side-examples. You will very quickly see the results of your code in (10!) fully-functioning apps and the book encourages expanding on them with suggestions / ideas. The book has definitely inspired me as, already stated, I've expanded one of the projects already and plan on more.You won't be disappointed by this purchase! It's a wonderful way to see what all Angular can offer through the help of external libraries!
