Creating image profiles from scratch
Image profiles can be created from scratch. Meaning you need not depend on a predefined image profile to form a new image profile. However, it is important to make sure that you include at least one ESXi base image and a bootable kernel module.
Getting ready
To be able to create image profiles from scratch, you will need offline or online software depot(s) with the required predefined image profiles and software packages already presented to the Image Builder Service.
