Assigning VM storage policies
As indicated in the previous recipe, you can assign/edit VM storage policies to/of existing virtual machines. This will help associate virtual machines with desired storage tiers.
Note
The policy can be applied even to the virtual machines home directory, in case you want virtual disks to be stored in a different storage tier.
