Using vCenter performance graphs
For the more convenient option to review performance data, vCenter captures performance data and depicts the output in forms of graphs. Although this may not provide the same level of flexibility and detail as esxtop, this serves the purpose for a high-level overview.
Getting ready
You will need access to vCenter with a role that has the permission to view and modify performance charts.
How to do it...
To be able to view the performance charts, have a look at the following steps:
- Connect to the vCenter server and select an object/hierarchy you want to monitor performance for. Navigate to
