I hold a masters in 3d arts and have a collection of books that have helped me in my 15 year career. This is a good book to get the skills and grow as you continue the book. I like that there is a technical preface at the beginning of each lesson so you actually know what youre doing instead of just following steps to see a result. The value is the fact that you grow as an artist while you complete the book. I've paid for books where you just do the same modeling tasks over and over but for different scenes and this isnt that. So I give it five stars which I rarely do for technical software books.

For many years as a trainer and sculptor, you hear all the time that ZBrush's UI and the ability to understand the program at a high level is not very easy of a task to do. However, this book is definitely one to grab if you are either getting started or even a power user already, this book is for you.Lukas Kutschera is an amazing sculptor with many years of experience behind him. Learning zbrush by myself was very challengingI only I had this book a couple of years ago I would’ve learned more efficient.From anatomy to likeness this book is a must have. I would definitely recommend this for people who are starting and also advanced.Techniques I wouldn’t find anywhere on the internet and I have been searching for years for something like this.I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!!

Ich modelliere seit 2019 mit ZBrush und würde mich als fortgeschritten bezeichnen. Bisher habe ich mir meine Informationen immer mühselig im Internet und auf Youtube zusammengesucht. Mit dem Buch hat sich das jetzt erledigt, da ich dort alles nachschlagen kann, was ich wissen muss. Die meisten Themen werden in dem Buch behandelt. Für mich war vor allem der Teil rund um die Vorbereitung der Modelle für den 3D-Druck interessant, da ich viele meiner Sachen drucke und bemale.Das gebündeltes Wissen ist sowohl für Anfänger als auch Fortgeschrittene geeignet und ich konnte schon das ein oder andere lernen, was ich jetzt täglich bei meinen 3D-Projekten anwende.Ich habe bisher noch nicht alles gelesen und mich erstmal nur auf die für mich besonders interessanten Abschnitte gestürzt. Sobald ich damit durch bin, werde ich das Buch noch einmal von Anfang bis Ende durchlesen und schauen, was ich sonst noch alles mitnehmen kann und was mir bei meiner täglichen Arbeit hilft.

Credits can be earned from reading 40 section of any title within the payment cycle - a month starting from the day of subscription payment.
