Summary

We covered a lot of ground in this chapter. The focus of the chapter is to add all of the final elements to the game that make it a truly polished game. This involves adding a lot of screens and buttons, and to manage all of this, we introduced a more advanced state machine. The state machine acts like a traffic director, routing the game to the correct routines depending on the game state.

In the next chapter, we will add sound effects and music to our game!
