Chapter 8. Delivering Customer Delight

Having learnt all the fundamental and technical implementations of various mobile automation methodologies and approaches in the previous chapters, in this chapter, we will learn about utilizing these concepts in real-world scenarios. We will learn about various aspects such as the importance of test automation with respect to improving RoI of a project and how it is more logical to perform automation in a mobile testing project than in regular functional testing projects. We will also explore other important aspects such as the use of emerging technologies in functional automation, such as continuous integration in mobile test automation projects. Apart from these, we will look at the architecture stack and various logical components of an ideal mobile test automation framework to bring together all that we have learnt in the previous chapters.
