Chapter 11. Business Process Flows and Business Rules

In this chapter, we will go through various scenarios explaining business rules in detail. Business rules were first introduced in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013. Before that, developers had to use JavaScript for any client-side scripting or validation. Business rules provide a rich interface, using which people can configure most of the client-side scripting and validations, which previously required some sort of coding experience.
