How do I buy and download an eBook?

Where there is an eBook version of a title available, you can buy it from the book details for that title. Add either the standalone eBook or the eBook and print book bundle to your shopping cart. Your eBook will show in your cart as a product on its own. After completing checkout and payment in the normal way, you will receive your receipt on the screen containing a link to a personalised PDF download file. This link will remain active for 30 days. You can download backup copies of the file by logging in to your account at any time.

If you already have Adobe reader installed, then clicking on the link will download and open the PDF file directly. If you don't, then save the PDF file on your machine and download the Reader to view it.

I highly recommend the book about jOOQ by Anghel Leonard. The structure is suitable for both beginners and advanced jOOQ users. The book covers all aspects of jOOQ and is an excellent reference book. Even I, as a very advanced jOOQ user, could still learn a lot.The book contains countless examples that illustrate the various functions of jOOQ. Anyone who wants to learn jOOQ, which I highly recommend to any Java developer who works with SQL databases, should definitely read this book.

Java Object Oriented Querying (jOOQ) is a Java database library that helps streamline using Java to interact with databases using SQL. This book does an outstanding job of introducing and showing readers how to take advantage of jOOQ’s code generator. Additional technologies are understandably covered and include Spring Boot, Java/Kotlin, and Maven/Gradle.The author assumes that you have knowledge of SQL already (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle) and that is okay. The book does not teach SQL, it teaches you how to use jOOQ to build queries using the code generator. If you are a Java developer and need to interact with databases, this book is a must!

Being a java developer, I really enjoyed reading this book! This book covers beginner to expert level and proved how it is the complete solution for implementing the persistence layer. I recommend this book for every java developer irrespective of their stage in this tech.

First, the obligatory list of (minor) complaints: * Occasional awkward text/proofreading mistakes * Some code examples' formatting could be improved for comprehensibility * Resulting SQL of a given code example is often but not always providedOn the positive side of the scale, the author presents here an impressive amount of instruction at a depth that should satisfy Java and SQL veterans while remaining palatable to novice developers. jOOQ's API is depicted in sufficient detail as to give the reader a real sense of its capabilities without overwhelming (the full API is as immense as it is brilliant). Having used jOOQ before I encountered in this book plenty I had not discovered on my own; a newcomer could definitely benefit if looking for a "leg up" to adopt this technology.
