Summary

In this chapter, we looked at using Jira Software for Kanban. We have looked at the Kanban board and how to configure it to model your existing workflow, as well as setting up column constraints to limit the work in progress, which is the key concept with Kanban. We also looked at some of the charts that are available to help you identify potential bottlenecks in your process so that you and your team can work together to address those issues and improve your process.

Now that we have covered using Jira for both Scrum and Kanban, we will look at some of the unique additions Jira brings to these two agile methodologies, namely Scrumban and Kanplan, in the next chapter.
