CloudFront pricing

CloudFront is a caching service provided by AWS. There is a certain free use limit for CloudFront. The AWS CloudFront price is different for different geographic regions. You can get a discount for reserved pricing if you commit certain uses for at least 12 months. For details go to: https://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/pricing/.

Getting ready

We first need to finalize the data transfer amount, the request type, and the request.

How to do it...

Open a new cost calculator if you want to have the cost for only CloudFront related components, or use the same cost calculator used for earlier recipes. Choose AWS CloudFront from the left menu bar:

Provide the data transfer volume, the average object size and the invalidation requests:

Provide the traffic distribution over the world, if you know. Provide the IP SSL certificates for HTTPS requests:
