In this digital age, as a system administrator, you must understand the fact that all downtime means a loss of profit for the company. So, it is your primary responsibility to minimize downtime as much as possible. Backup and restore (6.2.1)
It is hard to think of a server with lost data. To avoid such situations, backups are usually made for making a copy of data in case the original data is lost. In addition to a backup, a restore is the process of data recovery whenever data on a server is lost or corrupted. The following types of backups can be made:
- Full backup: It makes a copy of all of the data. To restore data, you need only the last set of full backups.
