Timelion help

We have a Help link on the upper right menu of Kibana. We can get the help screen with function reference and keyboard tips options by clicking on the Help link.

Function reference

Under Function reference, we can get help for all the available functions:

Here, we can get the list of Timelion functions. We can scroll down to get more functions and by clicking on any function, we can get more details about that function. This is quite helpful as we can take the function reference from here in order to use it in the Timelion expressions.

Keyboard tips

Under Keyboard tips, we can get keyboard shortcuts, which we can use during Timelion graph creation:

The preceding screen shows the Keyboard tips tab, where we can see keyboard shortcuts and their description. These shortcuts are quite handy as they increase the productivity.
