Chapter 11. Deploying App Volumes in a RemoteApp Environment

As we discussed in the previous chapter, a key feature of App Volumes is that it is not restricted to working with just VMware technology and products. In that chapter, we focused on how App Volumes can help deliver just-in-time applications when running a virtual desktop environment using Citrix XenDesktop, helping us create a truly stateless desktop environment for end users.

App Volumes is not just limited to working in a virtual desktop environment; it can also be used to deliver applications to servers that deliver application sessions or published applications to end users rather than a full desktop experience.
