Chapter 9. Analytics as a Service with the Force.com Platform

We have come a long way with our Leave Management application. We built our data model according to the business requirements, created pages to capture data, and implemented and automated the business processes. Basically, we built the functional application on the Force.com platform. Now, we have the ability to store our data related to the Leave Management application. Analytics plays a vital role in any company's development. We can define a company or a product successfully only if it has gone above in the metrics. These metrics or the tracking of metrics are perfectly engineered in the Force.com platform. Salesforce has advanced into analytics on a larger scale, posting a challenge for all giants in analytics. The investment of Salesforce confirms the importance of analytics in our organization. We can make things better only when we know the pros and cons of a situation from a centralized point of view.
