Chapter 9. Mobile Application and Mobile Browser Management

The next opportunity that we will look at with AirWatch by VMware is application and browser management. With application management, you have a lot of different options available with your deployment. You can opt to simply deploy internal or public apps from AirWatch app catalog, or you have the option of advancing your application deployment with the AirWatch SDK and app wrapping. This allows you to provide a true user experience by providing access to internal resources using mobile apps with added customization, branding, and security. Mobile Browser Management allows you to provide a more secure and managed environment when it comes to browsing on mobile devices. The ability to manage what the users can and can't access on a browser and to provide access to internal resources will provide a more productive environment.
