Choosing a chassis kit

Robot chassis kits provide an easy way to build the body of your vehicle. Most chassis kits come with DC gear motors and wheels. Some provide built-in battery compartments. To build a simple vehicle, you can use a two-wheeled robot chassis kit.

Adafruit, SparkFun, and Pololu sell great two-wheeled chassis kits that you can purchase for this project.

This chassis kit provides you everything you need to build the two-wheeled robot vehicle. The chassis can be built by combining metal plates with standoffs. The kit includes the following things:

- 1 x plastic caster ball
- Anodized aluminum frame and all mounting hardware for assembly
